The Blade Shaker is a classic Blade Bait (or vibration bait) that Zeck has developed together with Uli Beyer. Uli has been successful with this type of bait, which can be cast incredibly far, for over 30 years. Together, Zeck and Beyer have now designed a lead-free vibration bait that meets Uli's wishes 100%.
The fishing technique is really simple. In principle, it is enough to reel in the bait. Depending on the location and time of year, the speed can vary. Fast speedjigging in open water can also be successful. Classic jig fishing near the bottom should be avoided, however, because the Blade Shaker works best when it is under tension. If you want to fish near the bottom, however, you can make the bait "sink" towards the bottom during the "descent phase" by varying the speed of the retrieval with light tension. But even when fished near the surface, the Blade Shaker is very effective. With its strong vibrations, it makes predators really aggressive.
Zeck has deliberately chosen to use only one treble hook. This allows you to fish the Blade Shaker very close to the bottom, which can be very effective. Due to the relatively vertical position in the water, the Blade Shaker's nose can often hit rocks or stir up sand, which also drives many predatory fish crazy. The body also acts as a distance stop between the treble hook and the bottom. A second treble hook would only cause unnecessary hooks and, due to the relatively small bait size, would not contribute to better catch results.
Blade Shaker has 4 attachment holes. If you attach the bait in front, it will only vibrate slightly. For example, you can use the front attachment loop in very strong currents. The further back you attach the Blade Shaker, the stronger it will vibrate. In calm water, for example, you can use the third attachment hole (from the front). Feel free to test the different movements of the different loops on your fishing spot.
The 15-gram version of the Blade Shaker is an excellent bait for perch, pike, but also for asp, trout and ide.
