Freddy The Frog from Westin is a so-called wakebait, i.e. a surface-going bait that, thanks to the transverse spoon, swims wobbling, with the articulated legs winding behind.
This makes Freddy a very lifelike imitation of a real fat frog, something that in our waters mainly attracts pike, big and small! Freddy has a single hook directed upwards in the back of the butt and a sharp treble hook under the stomach. When fishing in or near water lilies/reeds, simply remove the treble hook to avoid getting stuck.
