The Exsence has an impressive list of features: Hagane Gear, Hagane Magnesium body, Micro Module Gear II, Silent Drive, X-Protect, MGL Rotor, 11 protected A-RB ball bearings and a one-piece titanium bail that provide all the features to fish in rough saltwater conditions with incredible ease and smoothness.
Although the 4000 version only weighs 220g, it is still equipped with a strong 11kg waterproof drag. The combination of Micromodule gear II together with the G-free body results in a very strong and smooth running reel that stays balanced while being cranked at high speed.
Exsence is the perfect companion when targeting coastal species, but of course works just as well in freshwater.
