Rapala Rippin 'Rap has a narrow body and a high profile and is designed to spin fish. It has a heavily vibrated walk and is heard in the long run thanks to the fact that it has a large rattle chamber - something that really attracts predatory fish.
Rippin 'rap is very easy to throw and the depth is determined yourself by letting it sink to different depths. It is most efficiently fished if you crank a few meters, make spinning stops, crank, spin stop, etc. Can also be used as a balance pirk and fished vertically under the boat. Fits best for perch and pike but other predatory fish chop if it passes in front of the nose.
