Down fishing has recently been successful in Sweden! Our own designer Edvin Johansson from Team Galant has developed the new Monkey down. The idea behind the technique is to be able to present the bait with the tail upwards when it is at the bottom with the help of a flat jig head, which makes it incredibly vivid and attractive in cold water.
The small details such as the ribs around the tail make a little extra noise for themselves in the water and have proven to be extremely effective during spring and autumn fishing. Monkey down is advantageously rigged with a slightly smaller hook, 1/0-2/0.
