Stoked fly rod puts a brand new quality standard for fly rods in this price segment. The rods are made with new production technology, which in addition to resulting in prominent fly rods takes great environmental considerations when choosing components and in the production process.
Stoked has the latest in material and production technology. It has enabled us to offer fly rods of a quality and performance that has not previously been seen in this price segment! When the development phase was over, we were so impressed that we simply chose to call them what we felt - stoked. An extra plus is that the Stoked series also has many of the more environmentally friendly components available in the Elevation series.
Compared to elevation, stoked has slightly lower graphite module - 24T / 30T / 36T against 36T / 40T. In practice, this means that stoked is easier to throw and more forgiving against throwing errors. Nevertheless, they are light and responsive rods with an action and feeling that is associated with much more expensive fly rods. The action is medium fast with a sensitive and stable top. The bend curve is progressive which gives you good contact with the whole blade at all types of throws.
The blade is transparent olive green metallic.
New, discreet full wells cork handle without a post of rubber cork. It reduces the use of epoxy in handles. All models have Fighting Butt apart from the rod in class #4 and #5.
On all windings we have applied an epoxycoating with very low concentration of harmful chemicals. Tested and approved as a product with low environmental imprints. This provides better working conditions for those who assemble rods and reduces the risk of health risks to a minimum.
The rod has hardcrome rings.
The rod case and the tube's outer fabric are made of recycled polyester which is supplied by Repreve ™.
The spitub is made of recyclable polypropylene (PP) which is lighter and has 20% less diameter than standard PVC tubes. This provides savings weight and volume in the freight in all stages. Polypropylene has very good durability and can be melted into pellets so that new products can be used.
