By continuing the work on our concept "Clean all the way" - which is our vision to significantly reduce our environmental impact as a company - over the past 12 months has resulted in the most detailed and focused design study we have ever completed. To redefine how flurine rolls are designed, created and manufactured by mixing innovative industrial design with small footprints and recycled raw materials means that Nova is the most environmentally conscious flugul we have ever built! It strengthens our vision to significantly reduce our environmental impact as anglers.
The Nova roll lines up an impressive set of technical features. Constructed of recycled materials, the roll is a small masterpiece of aluminum that is dedicated to durability. Most remarkable is that it is a product completely free from disposable plastic, with rolling cases and packaging of recycled 600D nylon and cardboard. An upgrade of all external aluminum components signals a devotion to increased quality, performance and durability. The braking systems are carefully designed and optimized to deliver a smooth and fine braking force that is adapted to each roll size.
Improvements include a new rear attachment of the shaft for extra stability in the brake, and by using a new resilient washer, a more consistent brake pressure is ensured. The roll shows a new and unique design language, characterized by shapes that were once considered impossible to manufacture. The triangular facetes and vertical cross arms contribute to increased structural integrity of the coil.
Built with a built-in counterbalance to minimize the number of components, the Nova roll manages to maintain constant weights despite significant upgrades of the components, where plastic details have been replaced with aluminum.
