9-foot rods are super light fly rods for those who prefer this classic length, with the benefit of a genuine lightweight feeling for the recommended linen weight. They are incredibly versatile, and are less affected by wind. The action on these rods is faster than the 9'9 rod. Broke in class #2- #3 is genuine dry fly and nymph rod for the most sensitive fishing with the finest paws. #4 and #5 are go-to-rods for all-round dry fly fishing and new in all types of water. They fish just as well at both short and long distance, with all types of throws. Class #6 Spit is for those who fish more wind -exposed areas and want a rod to also be able to handle streamers well. Class #7 is available to hammer out thick, led streamers with heavy sink lines.
9'9 "rods are our new approach to a state-of-the-art combian rod for dry fly, nymph, euronymging and lighter streamer fishing. Thanks to the advanced blade technology, the 9'9 span is extremely user-friendly, and they are perceived as very top-lying for their length/weight. They are very capable of shaping dense, precise flax bows. Compared to a 9-footer, the extra length gives a longer reach on the water and better contact and control during operation.
