The Experience WP Zip 21 is a durable and comfortable backpack made of high-quality, waterproof 600D TPU polyester fabric with welded seams. Anatomically shaped shoulder straps, a vertically adjustable sternum strap and a removable hip strap provide excellent carrying comfort during long fishing days. A padded 3D Air Mesh panel on the back provides extra comfort and ventilation against the back on hot days.
Safe & classy rolltop The main compartment of the backpack has a classic and secure rolltop closure. While it doesn't offer the same quick access as a zipper, it does offer the advantage of being able to adjust the size of the backpack slightly depending on how much you're packing. Just remember to roll it at least three times to ensure a completely tight seal. It can be closed and secured either at the top with a buckle-to-buckle, or with the tension straps located on either side. The backpack's slightly narrower design means it won't interfere with your throw or get caught when walking through rough terrain.
Speed Rod Attachment™ Externally, both side panels feature elastic mesh pockets and removable Velcro rod tube attachments. The elastic, adjustable and removable Speed Rod Attachment allows you to carry an extra rigged fly rod on either the left or right side. This feature is perfect for anglers who want to be able to fish with two fully rigged rods at the same time. On the front you will find an easy-access pocket with a water-repellent zipper, perfect for storing smaller items you want to keep close at hand. Please note that this pocket is not fully waterproof, but can withstand light rain and splashes.
Quick-Buckle™ system All Guidelines backpacks, including the Experience WP backpacks, use our Quick-Buckle™ system. This allows you to attach any chest bag, waist bag or vest front from the ULBC or Experience series to the WP shoulder straps. A Velcro patch on the front provides space to hang wet flies to dry or to give your backpack your own brand. Finally, on the top of the backpack is a practical carry handle made of woven nylon.
