The Guideline Experience Chest Pack is a well-thought-out and highly functional chest pack that can be adapted to different carrying styles and mounting methods. Its primary use is as a chest pack, where it easily attaches to the suspenders of any wader, regardless of brand. When wading deep or fishing without waders, the bag can be worn around the neck using its adjustable, padded neck strap. In addition, it can be easily connected to the shoulder straps of any of our Guideline backpacks or the back panel of our Experience vests. Finally, you can also attach the bag to the waist belt of your waders or backpack, which overall gives the Experience Chest Pack unrivaled versatility to fit in no matter how you want to carry your gear.
The bag's large main compartment has an internal dimension of 19x19x6 cm and has an internal partition that divides the space into a larger and a smaller part. An internal carabiner keeps your keys securely in place. On the outside there are two zippered pockets that provide extra storage, where the lower pocket has a bulging, elastic mesh material for extra volume. Smaller stretch mesh pockets are located on both side panels and are perfect for small, easy-to-reach items such as flotation agents. On the included padded neck strap you will find a D-ring for attaching a net.
The front of the bag is equipped with a peang holder that is designed for both left and right-handed people, and at the top of the lid there is a magnetic knob that is a practical place to temporarily attach flies or tools. A retractable retractor sits neatly integrated in a tunnel that is lined with Velcro and therefore acts as a drying station for wet flies. Additional loops on each side allow for the attachment of glasses or other accessories. To keep the bag in place during active fishing, an elastic chest strap with quick-release fasteners is included, which means that the bag sits comfortably and tightly against the body without moving.
