Advanced and effective shooting heads/shooting clumps for both sea and coastal fishing. The balanced, medium -length lump provides good throwing lengths with ease, while maintaining a controlled over -rolling. It has a complex tapping with a "Power -Boost" area in the front, just before the front appraisal. This helps maintain elements and speed in the loop even in severe wind conditions. You will also notice a very improved "side stability" which drives the line more precisely against the target in tough side winds. This Lina fits medium to skilled fly fishermen fishing from a boat or wading. A transparent front part of the lump makes the line discreet to use, and a pale color tone at the rear identifies the different densities and separates them from each other. There are small, strong, factory-made loops in both the front and rear end of the lump, and in the rear we also find an ID mark where class and density appear. Coastal 2.0 shooting clumps are built on our DC (Direct Contact) core that only stretches 6% longitudinally and makes it extremely easy to feel cautious and hook the fish efficiently. Compared to ordinary cores, they can stretch up to 20%.

Depending on your choice of shooting line, you can optimize the performance of your Coastal 2.0 shooting ball for a given situation. Using a thicker shooting line like our TSL .031 "or Complline II 42LBs will result in a faster, more powerful overwriter as well as shorter throws when wading. This can be advantageous in hard blown to get the paw to roll over and stretch in the headwind. This is also often a good choice to ensure that you get a more balanced and delayed rolling of the lump when fishing from a boat or using a linen basket.  There, too little friction in the shooting line can lead to unstable flax arch and worse stretch of the paw, especially in the headwind. Alternatively, when wading, you can choose a guideline complecy II 35 lbs shooting line in combination with a liner basket for maximum distance. Other good choices, especially when you wade and do not use a liner basket, are our ULs .027 ” / 0.68 mm or TSL 2.0 DC .028” / 0.71 mm liquid sliding lines with coating. Both have our DC core for maximum sensitivity and hooker.

  • Front tapping with “Power-Boost” provides balanced overwhelming and long throws.
  • Discrete transparent front for shy fish in clear water.
  • Low stretch DC core for maximum chopping detection.
  • Small and strong factory made loops front and rear.
  • ID-print at the rear end for easy identification.
  • PVC-free coating.

TLT (Triple Layer Technology) & Direct Contact Core
The fly lines of the future are here and consist of a revolutionary and complex multi-denisity technology with three different hardness in coating. Coating with varying properties is added to the different parts of the rope for less memory, better throwing properties, better contact with the fish and increased wear resistance. TLT allows us to produce ropes that flow well and release water much more efficiently than before. The taping is built on our Direct Contact multifilament core with only 6% stretch ..
