Blade baits are a really versatile bait type that is an excellent complement in the fishing box. For starters, this is a bait that is excellent to throw and fish home with a straight inspinning like a vobbler. The bait can also be allowed to sink and fish home in stages like a jig over the bottom or fished completely vertically under the boat like a pirk. The versatility of the blade bait makes it a bait that can fit a little everywhere in all kinds of water and situations. I like to fish it in cloudy water or low light conditions as the stubborn movement pattern creates powerful vibrations in the water that make it easier for the perch to find the bait and succeed in its attack.
